I think I'm going to copy Blair and post my "25 random facts" about myself that I posted on Facebook. Regular blogging to commence soon!
1. I love to read, but I don't believe in wasting my time on junk novels. I grew up in home with literally thousands of books and in a family that spent Sunday afternoons at Barnes & Nobel. Reading is a huge priority in my life.
2. I had my first baby via c-section and delievered the next two naturally! The natural birth of Gabrielle may be my greatest accomplishment.
3. I miss singing like crazy and it bothers me that I don't sound like I used to, but I know that there is a season for everything and it is a great blessing that my children have grown up hearing me sing them standards and other songs of substance other than just nursery rhyme songs. They appreciate classical music, jazz, and all sorts of things. We don't listen to Raffi all day, we listen to good stuff!
4. We have a pet hamster named Juliette, named by the 3 year old after she saw a production of Romeo & Juliette in Charlotte, NC. It's amazing what love will do, I never thought I would allow a rodent to live in my home.
5. My favorite foods are: cereal, fruit, pad thai, and guacamole.
6. After being with Charlie for 11 years (going on 6 married) I am still madly, insanely in love with him. He is the greatest joy of my life (aside from the Lord!), I can never get enough time with him, and I am so thankful for his presence in my life. I really just adore him, he's great.
7. Further from #6, I got married at 20 years old, but met Charlie at 15. We had to wait to "grow up" to get married. Now I am around 20 year old women all the time and I am shocked that I got married that young. The grace of the Sacrament has been very present!
8. I always have something on the back burner that I want to learn how to do. I'm working on sewing right now, but I'd love to get into knitting, gardening, and sketching, among others.
9. I use cloth diapers on my babies and I LOVE it.
10. It's very important to me that I make the bed every day.
11. Google and Cindy Mechler taught me how to keep a house, cook, entertain, and care for my family. It was looking hopeless at first.
12. I hate being pregnant (I struggle a lot with vanity), but I LOVE having a newborn baby. My children are such a blessing and joy. I'm pregnant again now, did you know that?
13. One of my best childhood memories was a personal tour of the Kimball Art Museum in Fort Worth when I was about 12.
14. I'm an introvert, my #1 love language is quality time, and I'm a melancholic.
15. I've been to 6 European countries, but never to the one I want to visit the most, Italy. I've got to get to the Vatican! (I've been to England, Holland, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, and France.)
16. I generally have horrible dreams. I worry a LOT and I think it manifests itself in my sleep.
17. I've turned into a woman that I never expected to be. I wouldn't say that's either good or bad though, haha.
18. I love makeup.
19. I have impeccable hearing, so don't whisper secrets around me. Throughout the years I have known more about more things/people than I have let on due to this super-hearing and the fact that I am very observant.
20. My husband is a missionary and our income comes 100% from monthly donors. This is humbling and a HUGE blessing at the same time. We are careful spenders, but not suffering - we've paid off all debt, have no car payments, and are saving for a home.
21. I think 2 year olds are the most delightful thing!
22. I'm a sucker for toile print fabric.
23. I love wine, I'll drink beer, and I enjoy a gin and tonic, but my favorite is whiskey. haha
24. I am so thankful for the Catholic faith that has been given to me though my family and I am ETERNALLY grateful that our Lord captured my heart in time for me to avoid all kinds of bad stuff in high school and college.
25. Barbies were my favorite toy growing up, but they are not allowed at my house now.

It's funny how even small things can jump out at me! Your #14 was like an answer to a prayer that's been on my heart for a few days. I've been feeling horribly guilty that I'm going to say "no" to doing something that will be adding another 2 hours a week to my schedule. I couldn't understand why I didn't want to do it but it will entail being with people longer and I NEED my quiet and solitude time. I know this doesn't make any sense but it jumped out at me and made me feel better when you wrote that about you!
